About Kate
Kate Nak Interiors is the result of a lifelong interest in Interior Design coming to fruition. After friends and family began contacting Kate to design their homes, she started the process of turning her passion into her career.
Kate Nak Interiors has recently acquired their General Contractors license and specialize in Design/Build projects. The personal connection with the client is one of Kate Nak Interior's core values and the foundation upon which the entire business is built. No matter the project, no matter your vision - Kate is excited to work alongside you to bring it to life.
In her free time, Kate enjoys spending her time outdoors including skiing and hiking, as well as restoring old furniture.
Our Process
Consultation
After we make initial contact, we will schedule a time for me to view the space. I will use this time to take photographs, measurements, and begin to formulate a plan for the area.
Get Acquainted
In this all-important step I will take time to get to know the client on a more personal level so I can get a feel for their style and goals for the space. I believe strongly in the personal connection and love meeting and getting to know new clients.
Design
After I am confident I have a firm grasp on your vision I will begin to design. This is a collaborative process with lots of contact back and forth between myself and the client.
Install
After the design is completed and approved and the materials have been acquired, I will again visit the space and put the room together. In many cases, the client will show me another area they are considering re-designing and we will start again back at step one.
